The European standard for road restraint systems, EN 1317, was introduced.

Sales representation in the European market extends Trinity Highway’s international reach.

2010

ENERGY ABSORPTION SYSTEMS ACQUIRED

Trinity Highway bolstered its business in 2010 with the acquisition of Energy Absorption Systems.

Energy Absorption Systems is a leader in the research and development of efficient energy-absorbing materials and technology, as well as cutting-edge breakthroughs in a variety of impact attenuators, crash cushions, truck-mounted attenuators, high-performance delineators, Safe-Hit® delineators, and other highway safety products since 1969 for both sale and leasing.

The POZ-LOC product line acquisition enhances Trinity Highway’s Sign Posts & Sign Supports business.

YODOCK ACQUISITION

The Yodock Wall Company acquisition augments Trinity’s existing line of longitudinal channelizing devices to include water-filled barricades that meet a variety of urban construction, traffic control, military, and special events applications.

Trinity Highway Rentals was established to offer leasing and rental options for select traffic control and work zone products.

TRINITY HIGHWAY BECOMES VALTIR

Trinity Highway rebrands and announces an exciting new name change to Valtir. The rebranding signals one of the final steps in Trinity Highway Products’ transition to a standalone company and reinforces its commitment to being an industry leader and global supplier of commercial highway products.
