The 4F-TTM is a flared, single-sided, redirective/gating and energy-absorbing guardrail end terminal for use in roadside and shoulder installations to include approach or departure applications.
4F-TTM is tested to MASH 2nd Edition (with 2020 Errata) Test Level 3 criteria and may be used in Test Level 1, Test Level 2, and Test Level 3 applications – when installed at the full Test Level 3 system length of 34′ 4-1/2″ [10.48 m].
During head-on impacts within MASH criteria, 4F-TTM is designed to dissipate energy by engaging the energy-absorbing technology of the device. During length-of-need side impacts within MASH criteria, 4F-TTM is designed to contain and redirect the impacting vehicle.
